BBA Model U.N. team receives “Best Large Delegation” at conference

BBA teacher Kendra LaRoche led the BBA Model UN group to a conference at Boston University and the team received "Best Large Delegation" amongst all participants.

The Burr and Burton Model U.N. program is an innovative educational program that engages our high school students in an exploration of current world issues through interactive simulations and curricular materials. The program hopes to cultivates literacy, life skills and the attitudes necessary for active citizenship. The program is led by BBA teacher Kendra LaRoche.

This past week the BBA Model U.N. group attended a conference at Boston University and the team received “Best Large Delegation” amongst all participants.

The following BBA students also received ​individual ​honors​: ​Best position paper award: Natalie Johnson, Will Sambrook​;​ Verbal commendations: Joshua Coppola​, ​Honorable Mention: Ramsay Eyre, Nate Gourd​; ​Outstanding delegate: Chris Kornaros, Amelia  Nick, Miles Glazer, Nico Avalle-Emrbee​; ​Best delegate: Tyler Jäger, Tobias Lepecki, Russell Bartlett​.

The BBA student participants were  CeCe Szkutak, Joshua Coppola, Tyler Jager, Natalie Johnson, Michael Caggiano, Alex Weinstein, Maddie Zeif, Chris Kornaros, Amelia Nick, Tobias Lepecki, Arianna Blanchard, Will Sambrook, Ramsay Eyre, Nate Gourd, Nico Avalle-Embree, Miles Glazier  and Russell Bartlett.
