On November 4, 5, 6, 7, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the Riley Center for the Arts at Burr and Burton Academy, the Performing Arts Department will present Twelve Angry Jurors, based upon Reginald Rose’s combustible “Twelve Angry Men” and directed by Jim Raposa. The story is as relevant today as it was over 60 years ago, when it premiered on CBS from Westinghouse Studio One. Rewritten as the 1957 Academy Award nominated film starring Henry Fonda, this riveting play has been produced throughout the world in countless stage productions and was once again realized on the small screen in 1997 with George C. Scott, James Gandolfini and Tony Danza.

As the evidence of murder in the first degree is re-examined, a seemingly open and shut case descends into a fiery drama, a drama that could end with a guilty verdict and the death penalty. Before the Show: BBA’s Student Success Program Hosts the Second Annual “Dinner and a Show”
Burr and Burton’s Student Success Program will be hosting the 2nd annual “Dinner and a Show ” on both Friday, November 6 and Saturday the 7th. Dinner is being served in the BBA cafeteria in conjunction with the performing Arts Department’s play “Twelve Angry Jurors” in the Riley Center of the Arts immediately following dinner.
